EASTON PEARSON
Based in Brisbane, Australia and available in select stores worldwide, womenswear label Easton Pearson has become something of an antipodean institution since launching in 1989. Designers and directors Lydia Pearson and Pamela Easton are primarily known for their eclectic approach to colour and print, inspired by Indian, African and European sources – as well as one-of-a-kind fabrics they have made by artisans in India, Vietnam and Hong Kong. The designers say they create clothing for women who are, “interested in art as much as fashion. We want women to take our garments and make them their own.”
